Department of Business, Accounting & Economics

The Department of Business, Accounting and Economics curricula will build competency in business disciplines.

The classroom is a forum where students are challenged to develop and demonstrate mastery of specific skills, including logical, consistent, critical and creative thinking, effective communication, and responsible and confident leadership. The faculty is committed to nurturing and inspiring integrity, poise, and standards of civility and respect. The department sponsors several activities designed to enrich our students’ education.

These include Enactus Entrepreneurial Experience, on-site business seminars offered during May Term, student internship experiences, and a student-run investment group that manages a significant portfolio of endowment funds with income devoted to international scholarships.
