Andy English

Originally from Harlan, Iowa, Andy found his home at Simpson College as an undergraduate student. He was the 7th member of his family to attend Simpson. While at Simpson, his work study as a student ambassador helped him find his professional passion – higher education. Upon his graduation in 2005, Andy began his career at Simpson as an admissions counselor until his departure in 2009. After a brief time away, he returned to Simpson as the director of alumni relations from 2013-2023. In 2025, Andy was afforded the opportunity to return to his alma mater as executive director of advancement. Andy resides in Carlisle, Iowa, with his wife, Erin, and children, Hudson and Colton.
