Biography

Caleb has a passion for helping students from disadvantaged backgrounds with over ten years of service in youth development organizations. Caleb was County Youth Coordinator for the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Marshall County where he founded Iowa’s first Latino 4-H club. The 4-H club focused on helping students navigate the pathways of higher education. This is where he found his passion for this work. He accepted the position of Advisor for the Educational Talent Search program at Iowa State University where he served Perry, South Tama, and Marshalltown High Schools before returning to Simpson College.
