Chris Goodale '86

Chris has been part of the Simpson Community during five different decades. He was a student in the 1980s, he worked in Annual Giving in the 1990s, and was part of the College Advancement Team from 2004 – 2018. He returned to the Office of College Advancement in January 2024, after helping run Des Moines nonprofit Above + Beyond Cancer, for five years. He specializes in Alumni Relations, General Fundraising, and Planned Giving. Chris has three grown children and lives in Indianola with his college sweetheart Dawn Van Ryswyk Goodale ’87.
