Eric Rucker

Rev. Eric Rucker grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and attended undergraduate at William Jewell College. After completing a Master of Divinity degree at Emory University in Atlanta, he accepted a position in the chaplaincy department at Simpson College. Eric has worked since 2016 at Simpson College directing the Simpson Youth Academy, a residential summer program for high school youth to nurture their faith, leadership, and vocational discernment. Eric lives with his partner and son in Des Moines Iowa, and he is also a part time pastor in the Episcopal Church.
