Biography

Jackie Brittingham is a biology professor, research mentor, and academic advisor for students preparing for careers in the health professions and biological research. Her research expertise is in the field of organogenesis in several different animal models including the frog and zebrafish. She is passionately involved in STEM outreach activities, including several in conjunction with the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Her other interests include studying global health challenges, in particular issues impacting women and children, in the classroom or abroad in locations like Central America.
