Jill Sampson

Jill Sampson teaches courses in computer programming and informatics. She got her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa where she studied bioinformatics in the College of Engineering. She continued her graduate studies at the University of Iowa where she leveraged computational tools to help understand the cause of a rare kidney disease called C3 Glomerulopathy. During graduate school she also earned a certification in college teaching from the College of Education. Upon completion of her Ph.D., she continued her research and expanded her teaching experiences at Bard College and the University of California, San Diego.
