Mara Bailey

Rev. Mara Bailey is an ordained Elder in the Iowa Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Rev. Jon Bailey (Windsor United Methodist Church) live in Des Moines with their two children, Eli and Isabelle. Her role at Simpson includes supervision of the ministries at Smith Chapel, an ecumenical space serving the students, faculty, and staff at Simpson College. She advises the Religious Life Community, serves on the Employee Advisory Council, and is a member of the President’s Cabinet.
