Biography

Mark Siebert took a bit different path to academe than most. He spent the first half of his working life as a newspaper reporter at small town weeklies, at metropolitan dailies and, most recently, as a general assignment reporter for The Des Moines Register. Now, he enjoys teaching writing, mentoring students and connecting them with the many media professionals in central Iowa and beyond.
