Biography
After growing up on a small family farm located between Charter Oak and Denison, Iowa, Ryan attended college at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. After graduating in 2001, Ryan moved to Omaha, NE gaining valuable business experience with large corporations such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Staples. In 2012, Ryan moved to Shenandoah, IA and worked as both the Foundation Director and Director of Marketing at Shenandoah Medical Center. In this position, he realized his passion in building authentic, long-term relationships that connect people’s values with meaningful opportunities to make an impact.
In his current role, Ryan focuses on fostering strong partnerships with Simpson alumni, donors, and community leaders to support initiatives that shape the student experience today and for many generations to come.
Ryan currently resides in Norwalk, Iowa. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys watching sports, golfing, biking, attending concerts, and traveling.
