Biography

Meet Sal Meyers, Professor of Psychological Science at Simpson College since 1995. With a passion for learning and creating meaningful educational experiences, Professor Meyers enjoys teaching courses in a variety of areas, including statistics, social psychology, personality, advanced research, and Foundations.

As a dedicated mentor, Professor Meyers guides students in conducting their own research projects, fostering critical thinking, research skills, and a deep understanding of psychological concepts. Her commitment to student success is evident in the consistent acceptance of Simpson students’ research presentations at the Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA) conference, with an impressive 100% acceptance rate and three Psi Chi Regional Research Award wins in recent years.

When not immersed in the world of psychology, Professor Meyers enjoys exploring new technology and spending time with her beloved pets (cats, hamsters, and rats). With a warm and engaging presence, she continues to inspire and guide students on their journeys of intellectual discovery and personal growth.
