Aiden Ruble


Aiden is from Indianola, Iowa. He plans to major in Biology, Biochemistry and Exercise Science with hopes of one day attending medical school. He is currently involved in the Student Alumni Association, Exercise Science Club, Pre-Heath Society, Wesley Service Scholars and Interfaith Fellowship.

Allie Tubbs


Allie is a first year Scholar from Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Johnston High School and is majoring in History and Disability Studies. She hopes to one day attend law school to become an Advocacy Lawyer. On campus, she is involved in vocal music, mock trial, and debate.

Through my time with the Iowa History Center at Simpson, I hope to unearth and celebrate the many Iowa heroes, past and present, that lie hidden in our history books. - Allie Tubbs

Kennedi Wright


Kennedi is a first-year scholar from Norwalk, Iowa. On campus she plans on studying History and Secondary Education. She hopes to one day apply these skills to become a high school history teacher. On campus, she is involved with tennis, Greek Life, Education Club and Big Brother Big Sister.

Noah Nelsen


Noah Nelsen is from Guthrie Center, Iowa. While at Simpson College, Noah plans on studying actuarial science and history. Beyond being an Iowa History Scholar, Noah participates in cross-country, track, and speech.

My passion for Iowa History came from learning about the history of Guthrie Center while participating in Youth on Main Street. Since then, I have wanted to learn more and more about my city and home state. - Noah Nelsen
