The Office of Marketing and Strategic Communication is your partner is getting the word out about your department, your office, your organization and the story you have to tell.

When you come to us, we will help you determine the audience, the correct channel, and tell that story at the right time best. We will be with you every step of the way. We have many years of experience and cannot wait to put it to use for you! 

 

We have put into place a few new protocols to help make your project run more smoothly. 

 

1. We have adapted our marketing request form to require more information from you upon submission. This one extra step will allow us to analyze your request better, give you a more precise timeline for completion and slot you into our team's schedule much more realistically — which will allow your office and our's to plan much better. 

 

2. We have also put into place a required marketing approval process for all printed materials, branded items, promotional products or advertising. The Office of Marketing and Strategic Communication is responsible for the external image of Simpson College. The Office seeks to maintain consistent branding by ensuring that the message and look of the College are the same throughout all marketing, publications, advertisements and promotional items. The marketing approval process plays a critical role in maintaining this consistency while ensuring the most efficient use of marketing dollars. The office of Marketing and Strategic Communication works with each department to create or review all marketing publications, television and radio scripts, advertisements and promotional items, and branding on staff and event apparel and signage.
