Congratulations again, graduates! We are so thrilled to be able to offer you an in-person ceremony this year. To accommodate all graduates from spring 2020, fall 2020 and spring 2021, we are changing things up a bit to ensure safety is our top priority.
We are hosting two ceremonies — one at 10 a.m. May 1 that will be for our spring and fall 2020 graduates and their families. We will then welcome our spring 2021 graduates for a ceremony at 2 p.m. that same day. Both ceremonies — weather permitting — will take place in Buxton Stadium. And when we say weather permitting, we really mean only if there is thunder and lightning will we move inside. Anything else is a go and we ask that you dress accordingly. We will be following social distancing and mask protocols. No one will be admitted to the stadium without a mask, properly worn.
We will communicate with you and your families between now and then, providing many details and all the plans so you can be prepared, ready and able to celebrate your special day. We are eager to make this celebration all it should be for you, our Simpson graduates. We are so proud of you!
Please read through the website now and bookmark it for easy reference. We will keep it updated and add more details between now and May 1. It will be a great way for you to ensure you don’t miss a thing and have a great graduation day.
