Simpson College Honor Choir
Simpson College Honor Choir
Join us for a great day of musical learning on October 2, 2025! Simpson choral conductor, Dr. Jon Arnold will be leading the day!
Just before All-State auditions in the state of Iowa, the Simpson College Honor Choir serves many fantastic purposes including a chance to rehearse and perform as many of the year’s All-State pieces as possible in a performance setting prior to the auditions.
The Simpson College Honor Choir is designed as a non-competitive environment where exceptional students from high school choral programs have the opportunity to spend a day rehearsing and performing high quality choral music. The festival augments and reinforces the exciting work that is already being done in their home choral programs. A day such as this serves as an opportunity for students to energize, discover, and reaffirm their interest and passion in singing.
Students will also go on a tour of the campus and be able to ask questions of current students studying a variety of subjects at Simpson.
Repertoire
Repertoire will be the All-State chorus music, available in packets from West Music.
