Second dose COVID-19 vaccine clinic set for April 29
Simpson College, the City of Indianola and Hy-Vee Pharmacy are partnering to hold a second dose COVID-19 vaccine distribution event Thursday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Cowles Fieldhouse.
The clinic will provide a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine for individuals who received their first dose at Simpson’s clinic on April 7. The event is not for people looking for their first dose.
Those receiving a vaccine should enter Cowles Fieldhouse – the site of the first clinic – through the west doors on the lower level, just off D St. Parking will be available in the Kent Campus Center lot.
Appointments are being managed by Hy-Vee. Individuals who received their first dose on April 7 will receive an email from Hy-Vee to sign up for an appointment. If people don’t receive an email, they should arrive at 4:30 p.m.
To receive the second dose, individuals must bring the vaccine card they were given at the first clinic.
