Simpson Storm Shelter

The Simpson Storm Shelter is home to the campus food co-op and clothing closet, located on the first floor of Kresge Hall. The hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-12pm. Visits outside of these hours can be scheduled by reaching out to Ellie Blosser, AmeriCorps Service & Community Engagement Coordinator, via email ellie.blosser@simpson.edu.

The Storm Shelter is available for all students to utilize, and their student ID will let them into Kresge Hall. Food co-op items include non-perishable food items, hygiene products, and a limited supply of refrigerated and frozen items. Clothing closet items include a combination of business and casual attire for students of all genders. All donations are sorted throughout the week to best meet the needs of our students.
