You’ll be professionally prepared, experienced and ready to have a positive effect on the world. As an elementary education major, a secondary education minor, or a college graduate interested in bringing your expertise into a secondary classroom at Simpson, you’ll find success at many levels. We have unique attributes in our Teacher Education Program that will move you to the head of the class when looking for a career in education. What makes a Simpson teaching degree so valuable? Consider:

Real teachers and real classrooms – No temporary adjuncts or graduate students here. Our faculty members supervise your professional field experiences leading up to student teaching. Field experiences are integrated into many courses throughout the teacher preparation program.

Travel and teach in other countries – The Simpson May Term is a great opportunity to see classrooms in other countries and gain professional field experience. Past trips have included India, New Zealand and Thailand.

Diverse field experience – Find us on the map and you’ll see that our campus location offers teacher candidates field experiences in urban, suburban and rural K-12 classroom settings.
