Simpson College appears in U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings

College also ranks prominently on list of top performers on social mobility

Simpson College (simpson.edu) ranks among the top national liberal arts colleges in the country according to the 2021 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings. The rankings also recognized the College as one of the top performers on social mobility.

Simpson ranks No. 149 among national liberal arts colleges, a category that includes institutions that focus almost exclusively on undergraduate education and award at least 50 percent of their degrees in the arts and sciences. 

Simpson ranks No. 51 on the list of top performers on social mobility, a jump from last year’s placement at No. 96. The social mobility indicator measures how well schools graduated students who received federal Pell Grants, a testament to the College’s unwavering commitment to inclusive educational access.
