Speech and Debate Earns Top Spot in Season Opener

Last week, the Simpson Speech and Debate team competed against 18 other colleges and universities at the Derryberry Season Opener. Held at Southwest Baptist University on September 29th and 30th, Simpson earned first place in overall team points. The team also earned Top Pi Kappa Delta Chapter, First Place in Debate Sweepstakes, Second Place in Individual Event Sweepstakes and brought home over 20 individual awards.
