The Student Accessibility Office (SAS) recognizes temporary disabilities that may result from: concussions, broken bones, recovery from surgery, etc.

Examples of temporary accommodations include:

  • Altered deadlines for assignments and papers
  • Extended time on exams and quizzes
  • Exam question(s) read aloud
  • Peer note-taker or ability to record lectures
  • Housing on first-floor
  • Parking pass to all lots
  • Access to handicap-accessible shower and/or private bathroom
