Education Studies - Teaching and Learning Concentration (Secondary Licensure)

Secondary education students earn a full major in their teaching content and a major in Education Studies – Teaching and Learning Concentration.

This program helps to prepare you for the subject you will teach and the methods and practices of teaching. It enhances the knowledge, competency, and professional skills needed in today’s secondary classroom environment. You will become an effective teacher and a leader in secondary education.

Candidates for licensure must complete a minimum 30 credit major, the Education Studies: Teaching and Learning Concentration, at least one full endorsement program, State-mandated liberal arts requirements, and a full semester of student teaching.
