Why Simpson College for a Masters of Arts in Teaching?

Choose from a variety of teaching disciplines
Simpson College offers two graduate teacher education programs for candidates pursuing secondary licensure in business, world languages, English/language arts, math, natural sciences, and social sciences: the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, which results in both licensure and a master’s degree, and the Transition to Teaching (T-to-T) program, which results in licensure.
This Is What Success Looks Like

The MAT program at Simpson is truly one of a kind. The professors are extraordinary not just in their teaching, but in their ability to connect and create meaningful relationships with each student in the program. My journey as a teacher began—and was truly defined—at Simpson College.
