Farnham Galleries features illustrations by Nic Roth
Work of children’s book author and illustrator on display through Nov. 24
Simpson College (simpson.edu) is showcasing the work of local illustrator and author Nic Roth at the Farnham Galleries through Nov. 24, 2020. The exhibition features 16 large illustrations and samples of Roth’s work in print media.
Roth is the author and illustrator of the children’s picture book Coco Wants a Burger and the hit webcomic Beet and Panda. His work has appeared in national children’s magazines such as FACES, ASK and Muse. Roth lives in Des Moines, Iowa.
Located on the third floor of Mary Berry Hall, the Farnham Galleries are free and open to the public. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Special accommodation requests can be sent to Justin Nostrala, professor of graphic design, at justin.nostrala@simpson.edu. Due to COVID-19, Simpson College is requiring that all campus visitors wear a mask.

Each year, the Gallery is host to student exhibits and nationally and internationally known visiting artists. Every spring, the Farnham Galleries serves as the venue for the exhibition of Studio Art and Graphic Design students’ senior work.
