Data Science is a rapidly growing field that provides students various career paths and opportunities for advanced study. Students majoring in Data Science will learn to think critically about the process of understanding data. The major includes a foundation in mathematics, data analysis, and computing, which is needed to acquire, visualize, and analyze complete data sets.
This interdisciplinary minor will provide the fundamental tools of data exploration, visualization, and modeling, which can be applied to any major that uses data, including biology, health sciences, psychology, and more.
