Data Analytics minor

At Simpson, our Data Analytics minor prepares you with the technical knowledge and communication skills to turn data into meaningful insights. Designed to complement any major, the minor combines coding, statistics, data cleaning, modeling, and ethics to help you stand out in a data-driven world.

Learning goes beyond the classroom. You’ll collaborate with classmates, work with real data, and gain hands-on experience solving problems similar to those you’ll encounter in the workplace. Through a curriculum supported by a National Science Foundation (NSF-IUSE) grant and a partnership with Simpson’s Writing Center, you’ll learn to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and general audiences. Along the way, you’ll strengthen your critical thinking, teamwork, and ethical decision-making skills.
