The Culver Public Policy Center at Simpson College regularly hosts debates and candidate forums.
Simpson College was the site of the first televised debate between U.S. Senate candidates Bruce Braley (D) and Joni Ernst (R) in September 2014.
In October 2014, Simpson also hosted a televised debate between Staci Appel (D) and David Young (R), candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives, Third District of Iowa.
