Data Science major

Gain an understanding of the evolving implications of how data can be used to solve real-world challenges today and into the future.

Data Science is a rapidly growing field that provides students various career paths and opportunities for advanced study. Students majoring in Data Science will learn to think critically about the process of understanding data. The major includes a foundation in mathematics, data analysis, and computing, which is needed to acquire, visualize, and analyze complete data sets. Students will also have a capstone internship experience to implement the skills and knowledge learned and put into action.

A student cannot get a Data Science major in addition to a Computer Science major.
