The Teacher Education Committee recommends policies concerning the program of teacher education and its integration into the total program of the college, determines the selection and retention of students in the program of teacher education, and makes appropriate recommendations for the certification and endorsement of prospective teachers.
Membership:
Three faculty members from different divisions with staggered terms.
One student appointed by the president of the student government with the advice and consent of the student senate will participate in meetings related to policy only.
Non-voting, ex officio member: Chair of the Education Department
