The set of exercises and scenario ask students to check their own assumptions and biases, and it provides a good springboard for discussion. This is part of a 1/2 day prof development, and it would need slight modification.

Go to materials:

Strengths:

This is a simple, easy-to-understand scenario. Some follow-up questions as well as discussion points are provided for student/small group use.

Concerns:

Instructor would need to adapt the material to a college student audience. The instructor notes were not part of the PDF so a little bit of preparation would be required.

Recommenations:

I would assign a reflection at the end that asks students to talk specifically about the SLOs.
