My name is Raffy Polanco. I am originally from the Dominican Republic, and I graduated from Grand View University with a bachelor’s degree in International Business/Spanish and a minor in Computer Science. The most exciting part about my new role is to help Simpson College grow our diverse population.
I am especially excited to work with students who think they don’t have the opportunity to attend college because they don’t feel included or because they are from different cultures or countries. The Latino Community is growing rapidly in Iowa and my goal is to connect with these students and let them know that Simpson has great opportunities for their future college career.
