A great way to get involved on campus, have fun with your friends and meet new people

Whether you want to learn a new activity or stay competitive in one of your favorites, intramurals are a great way to connect with others. Simpson Fitness offers a full schedule of exercise classes designed to keep you active and in shape. Utilizing the state-of-the-art Steven Johnson Fitness Center, you will have great choices to keep you healthy and feeling good.


Intramural activities

Students, staff, alumni and faculty can take advantage of Simpson's indoor and outdoor intramural activities. Not only is it a fun experience, you will also practice sportsmanship, teamwork, communication and leadership skills.

There are over 75 different activities to choose from including the traditional sports of basketball, flag football, and indoor soccer, to the not so traditional (but loads of fun) games such as Wallyball, Battlestack, eclipse ball and mud volleyball.

All you have to do is choose an activity, sign up either individually or with a team, watch for the schedule and then get ready to compete for Simpson fame and glory and the coveted Intramural Champion t-shirt!


Are you interested in weightlifting? Yoga? Aerobics? Dance? Whatever you prefer to get up and move to, Simpson probably offers free classes in it. With the state-of-the-art Steven Johnson Fitness Center as a backdrop, you can have fun while keeping fit. The classes are free and open to all Simpson students, faculty and staff.

The two-level center boasts a cardio deck with ellipticals, stationary bikes and weight machines above and a weight room below with free weights and strength and conditioning equipment.
