Biography
Rick is in his 11th year at Theatre Simpson, and serves as an Instructor, Designer, and Technical Director. Recent designs include scenery for “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and lighting for “Tartuffe”, “Playhouse Creatures”, and “The Comedy of Errors”. Other work includes lighting for Opera at Simpson’s “Venus and Adonus”, “Cendrillion” and “The Mikado”.
Prior to Simpson, Rick worked at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, designing lights for about 20 productions over 12 years.
