Major and Minor
The Marketing Communication program merges the worlds of business and communication to make you a valuable asset in the ever-changing digital world. You will build a foundation in media skills and concepts as well as business and marketing. With a strong emphasis on practical application, you will gain the valuable, hands-on experience needed to jumpstart your career.
You'll learn how to help organizations reach their strategic and tactical goals by creating and managing brands and messages. Through data analysis, you'll learn how to build effective campaigns that will result in more exposure for your client.
You will study the fundamentals of news writing, including methods of news judgment, news gathering and modern news style. Emphasis will be placed on the coverage of breaking news events.
