Women's and Gender Studies Course Listing

Minor

Students can complete a minor by taking the introductory course, WMST 101: Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies, four other courses designated as WaGS courses, and completing a portfolio their senior year.

WMST 101: Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies is offered every semester and fulfills the Cultural and Textual Inquiry component of the Core general education program. Other 190, 290, and Honors courses may be added that will count toward the minor. Questions about what counts toward the minor can be directed to Jennifer Nostrala, Director of Women's & Gender Studies, jennifer.nostrala@simpson.edu.

As this is a multidisciplinary minor, students may only take two courses from the same discipline to count toward the minor.
