Simpson’s chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society, welcomed eight new members at the annual Alpha Beta Psi dinner and new member initiation.
As part of the initiation, students learned about the meaning behind Phi Alpha Theta’s symbols, and then took part in our own invented tradition of selecting random but historical titles. Our new officers include a Marquess, an Archon, and the Master of the Jewels.
