Bachelor of Arts Minor

What will I learn?

All types of students pursue music minors, especially those who are passionate about music and want to keep it a part of their lives, but who are not majoring in it. While pursuing a music minor, you will be required to obtain six ensemble credits as part of the requirements. Here is a sampling of classes you will take.

Aural and vocal study of rhythmic patterns, scales, intervals, triads, seventh chords, and song and choral materials primarily in treble and bass clef.

Whether you intend to build your degree around music or simply want to perform in an ensemble, Simpson offers a robust scholarship program for students from all majors interested in continuing musical pursuits throughout college.
