EMERGE@Simpson understands that learning entrepreneurial concepts is not linear. REACH modules are self-study learning pods on the core topics needed to build and launch ventures and accessible when they are needed to help overcome challenges. They are designed to supplement classses provided at Simpson College, available on-demand and at no cost.
Modules are curated mini-libraries on a wide range of topics ranging from how to create a pitch deck, the basics of the business model canvas, customer discovery methods, and more. They are produced and edited by faculty, staff, and students within the REACH class from students' perspective on the information source's quality and learning value.
Learning pods are made available to EMERGE@Simpson participants, including those outside of Simpson College that are Carver Connection and Emerge Foundation ventures. Content includes web site links, TED talks and other video sources, a Frequently Asked Question list based on learning objectives, and material from industry sources.
EMERGE@Simpson staff are available to help connect program participants to the educational sources needed to succeed, be they REACH modules or professors that specialize on a particular topic. It's another way the Simpson Experience approach to entrepreneurialsim is unique.
