Mission statement of the Office of the Registrar

As custodians for the academic data and the integrity of the academic policies of the college, we are committed to assisting students and the Simpson Community in working within the parameters of the academic policies and requirements while respecting the dignity of all who seek our assistance.

 

IMPORTANT DATES:

Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

  • First day of CGOE classes: Monday, August 26, 2024.
  • First day of fall traditional classes: Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
  • All College Convocation: Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
  • Labor Day-Regular Class Day: Monday, September 2, 2024.
  • Last day to add/drop a full-semester or Term 1 class: Monday, September 2, 2024.
  • Last day to withdraw from any Term 1 course: Sunday, September 29, 2024.
  • Family Weekend/Homecoming: October 12, 2024.
  • Mid-term is Friday, October 11, 2024, and mid-term grades are due Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
  • Fall Break (No Classes for Traditional Course Offerings): October 17-18, 2024.
  • Last day of Term 1 courses: Sunday, October 20, 2024.
  • Term 2 courses begin: Monday, October 21, 2024.
  • Term 1 grades due: Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
  • Last day to add/drop Term 2 courses: Sunday, October 27, 2024.
  • Last day to withdraw from a full-semester course: Monday, November 4, 2024.
  • Registration for spring & May term 2025 courses: TBA
  • Thanksgiving Break: November 27-29, 2024.
  • Last day to withdraw from any Term 2 course: Sunday, November 24, 2024.
  • Last day of classes (Traditional Courses): Thursday, December 5, 2024.
  • College Reading Day (Traditional Program): Friday, December 6, 2024.
  • Finals: Monday, December 9-Wednesday, December 11, 2024*
    *    (Dec. 12 Snow make-up day). 
  • December Commencement: Friday, December 13, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.
