Educational Technology Training Opportunities
a) Simpson Online Faculty Academic: This 5-Week Summer Program for Adjuncts Developing Courses in CGOE will teach the basics of course design, best practices for online teaching, requirements for regular and substantive interactions, and more.
b) CGOE Onboarding Moodle Course: All new faculty in CGOE are required to take this course. It covers requirements and best practices for teaching in the program.
c) Moodle Resources for Faculty Page: This page houses resources for faculty who are new to the Moodle LMS and includes videos, contacts, and resources.
d) Great Ideas for Teaching (GIFT) Workshops: These 20-minute presentations, led by our Instructional Designer, showcase new information, tips, and resources for online instruction. All faculty are welcome to attend.
