This TED talk, approximately 12 minutes in length, uses both psychology and history to explain “motivated reasoning”, the process that underlies the decisions and ideas we defend.  The speaker in this talk leads us to understand the value in intentionally being curious about multiple perspectives, essential in working collaboratively with others.
