Print book in Research Assistance Center: Teaching Information Literacy: 50 Standards-Based Exercises for College Students – Joanna M. Burkhardt, Mary C. MacDonald, with Andree J. Rathemacher, Chicago, American Library Association, 2010.

This print book provides lessons and assignments that address the ACRL IL standards. Simpson IL course characteristics and learning objectives are based on these standards. Assessment is also covered. There are other books in the RAC available for use by faculty but this book is particularly useful. The assignments culminate in a “Paper Trail” project where students complete all steps of the research process and document the process but don’t actually write a paper.

Material located in the Research Assistance Center in Dunn Library.
