This is a short video on how to use Wikipedia as a springboard for locating other potential sources and background information. Part of the Cooperative Library Instruction Project, which offers a series of IL related tutorials and quiz questions that can be used with Scholar or Survey Monkey.
Strengths
This video discusses why Wikipedia is not usually an acceptable academic source, and details how you can find potential scholarly and popular sources that would be acceptable in an academic paper. It is short, engaging and easily digestible.
