Seven minute video detailing how to use Google Scholar to search for scholarly articles. Part of the Cooperative Library Instruction Project, which offers many IL related tutorials and quiz questions for use in Scholar or Survey Monkey.
Strengths
The entire CLIP catalog is engaging and easily digestible. Of note in this tutorial is an explanation of how to link Google Scholar to your school’s library catalog, allowing you to see if a resource is available at your home library without having to copy and paste between pages. The quiz questions allow you to combine them with other materials to create one quiz, rather than sending students to multiple smaller quiz sites.
Concerns
None.
Recommendations
This would be suitable for any student, graduate or undergraduate.
