Concerns

Some of the links it recommends are so full of ads it is hard to navigate, plus they seem to be redundant. Using the material in this textbook without the links is recommended.

You cannot simply click on the topic. Instead, you need to scroll through the document.

Recommendations for use

As a chapter from an electronic textbook, it (or sections of it) could be assigned as course reading material in preparation for the OC presentations in your class.  The activities outlined throughout the chapter could be useful in-class or homework assignments. Many of these activities could be useful as “icebreakers” or warm-ups on speech days to help students relax and overcome communication apprehension.
