One-page checklist intended to help students test supporting material for appropriateness.
Strengths
This is a concise and clear document that allows the student to see a no-nonsense checklist to aid in the evaluation of appropriateness for supporting materials in oral presentations and arguments.
Concerns
All items on the checklist are not self-explanatory. In-class discussion will likely be necessary for the checklist to be most effective.
Recommendations for use
This is a student resource. It could be distributed via Scholar or in hard copy to any student who is making an oral presentation. Students should apply this tool to evaluate any of their resources/supporting materials.
